Cake Mix Cookies

I was scrolling thru social media the other day and I came across a video for cake mix cookies. I instantly got a cookie craving. I remembered that I had a box of fudge marble cake mix in the pantry and decided to try out a recipe. Now, if you search for recipes involving cake mix you will find many using different ingredients. We picked through a few and came up with a delicious cookie recipe using Duncan Hines Marble Fudge Mix.

INGREDIENTS

1 box of cake mix (we used fudge marble) Use all the ingredients that are included in the box.

1 cup of chocolate chips

1 stick of butter

2 eggs

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together in a medium sized mixing bowl.

Scoop 1.5″ balls of dough out of the batter and place them on an ungreased baking sheet about 1″ apart.

Bake between 10-12 minutes. We baked for 10 minutes, we like soft cookies.

This was my first time to make cake mix cookies and I would love to try some other flavors. Maybe next time I’ll try strawberry, lemon, or chocolate. I’m going to do some research and get creative with some ingredients. If you have tried some and loved them let me know what flavors you made.
